Led by Dawn Riley, America True was a campaign for the 2000 America's Cup. It was the first syndicate in history to be headed by a woman and the first to have a co-ed crew. The campaign made a strong showing in the semifinal round of the Louis Vuitton Cup. Our construction of the boat was featured in the Tahoe Daily Tribune (America's Cup yacht being built in Truckee). Today, America True is a nonprofit foundation that promotes and introduces young people to the joys of sailing nationwide.
